Things are starting to fall apart! Not completely, and not beyond my 70% goal, but I\u2019m definitely missing more habits than at the beginning. Since coming back from New Hampshire and camping, I have both more responsibility (more habits) and less accountability (we\u2019re not with other people), so this program is hitting me hard.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:image -->\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/RswR1-GJjnZJrAumWI3_OR2-sfTCs6CmxAw5ywrs5OBTmBPRAOqdlSo1ChYiJnovwMM6z0BzsN9NiumdMn_Mj09_nB7c4GfmySdRH5IbkgXnodSDK7q94HGLceOH3Z_zK68LQ8vwbEft14WE6lNnkRvFxw7OqTslX5Rk4ZlvcO1yDvd8ShVIu62TwQ\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n<!-- \/wp:image -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>As you can see from the habit tracker for the last few weeks, the zeroes are getting more common, from 1 missed habit three weeks ago, to six missed habits last week.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Part of the problem is that I simply forget about the program until the end of the day. It\u2019s getting more critical that I need to start the habit \u201cPlan day\u201d soon, so that I can get on top of things from the get-go. What do I do in the meantime? Do I start a new habit unscheduled?! Of course I can do that! It\u2019s not as if I\u2019m saving everything else until the habit officially starts, right? That would mean that I\u2019m purposefully skipping brushing my teeth at night, or not doing any laundry, or spending like crazy on credit cards. Insanity!<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Also, starting today, I\u2019m brushing my teeth as soon as I wake up, instead of waiting until after breakfast. I typically eat breakfast at my desk, starting work, so when I finish, I\u2019m already caught up in things, and I don\u2019t want to stop to go brush my teeth. It seems so simple to just brush my teeth in the morning, but this habit is proving difficult!<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>And double don\u2019t judge me for not taking a shower last week, even after camping! Yes, I\u2019m gross. So what?<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>This week, I\u2019m starting the new habit of doing a 5-minute speed pick-up around the house. Last night, I was getting ready for bed and realized I hadn\u2019t done this yet, but it was super easy to just look at my watch and start. Five minutes goes by so quickly.
