This is about accountability, fortification, and breaking your goal down into smaller steps.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>Accountability<\/strong><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Name three people that you are going to tell about your goal, and then tell them. I\u2019m going to tell: my husband, my sister, and my mom. I also write this blog, so that\u2019s another form of accountability.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>Fortification<\/strong><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Think of all the possible ways that you could be hindered from your goal, and brainstorm how to overcome those hurdles.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:table -->\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td>Obstacle or challenge<\/td><td>Strategies to overcome<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Laziness or apathy<\/td><td>Start each morning with a plan for the dayPrioritize habits and do hotter items firstTake each day one at a time &#8211; if you have an off day, that\u2019s ok. I\u2019ll add them as I think of them or encounter them!<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>Breaking down your goal<\/strong><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>We\u2019ve already talked about taking this challenge day by day, even though it\u2019s a year-long goal. And the steps are further broken down by week with each new habit. Normally in this section, I would list out specific steps that I am going to take today, this week, and this month, to help me get to my goal.
